Eclipse Notary Services Policy
Eclipse Notary Services (“We,”Us,”Our”) is committed to providing professional and reliable notary services in compliance with Nevada state laws, including the Nevada Revised Statutes (NRS) Chapter 240, which governs notaries public. By using Our services, clients agree to the terms outlined in this policy.
Confidentiality
Eclipse Notary Services adheres to NRS 240.064, prioritizing client privacy and maintaining confidentiality of all documents and information provided for notarization. Information or documents are solely used for the notarial act and are not shared without client consent, except as required by law.
Services Offered
Eclipse Notary Services provides Mobile Notary, Electronic Notary, Loan Signing, Marriage Certificates, and emergency notary services. All services are performed in accordance with NRS Chapter 240 and other relevant laws.
Right to Refuse Service

In compliance with NRS 240.065, Eclipse Notary Services reserves the right to refuse service under the following conditions:

The client cannot produce valid government-issued photo identification, as required by NRS 240.1655.

The document appears fraudulent, incomplete, or may involve illegal activity (NRS 240.063).

The client displays inappropriate or aggressive behavior, compromising the notary's safety or impartiality.

The signer is under the influence of drugs or alcohol or appears unable to understand the document.

Any other circumstance where the notary believes impartiality or legality of notarization may be compromised.
Identification Requirements
In compliance with NRS 240.1655, all clients must present a valid, government-issued photo ID for each notarial act. Acceptable forms include a Nevada driver’s license, U.S. passport, state ID, or military ID. Eclipse Notary Services may refuse services if identification cannot be verified per Nevada requirements.
Refund Policy
Cancellation Policy: Clients may cancel their appointment up to 24 hours in advance for a full refund. Cancellations within 24 hours of the appointment will incur a cancellation fee, typically 50% of the service fee.
Refunds for Completed Services
In line with NRS 240.100, once a notarization is completed, all payments are non-refundable.
Travel and Emergency Fees
Per NRS 240.100(3), travel fees and emergency service fees are non-refundable once the notary has arrived at the location or in the event of a late cancellation (less than 24 hours' notice).
Partial Refunds
In case of service-related disputes, partial refunds may be considered on a case-by-case basis, provided there is clear evidence of service issues and no conflict with NRS requirements.
Fees and Payment
Service fees are disclosed upfront and may vary based on the type of service, travel distance, and other factors, in accordance with NRS 240.100. Clients agree to pay all applicable fees at the time of service booking. Emergency or after-hours notary services may incur additional fees.
Evening and Weekend Appointments
Evening and weekend appointments must be scheduled and confirmed in advance. Clients requesting these appointment times are required to provide preferred dates and times, subject to notary availability. Once an appointment time has been agreed to by the notary, clients will receive a confirmation email detailing the scheduled time and location. The notary reserves the right to deny requests for evening or weekend services if availability is limited.
Limitation of Liability
Eclipse Notary Services limits liability as permitted by NRS 240.150 and is not responsible for any financial, legal, or other consequences resulting from notarized documents or actions taken by the client following notarization. We are not liable for errors due to incorrect information provided by the client or document validity issues beyond the notary’s control.
Governing Law
This policy and all matters related to Eclipse Notary Services are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada. Any disputes arising from the use of our services will be subject to Nevada’s jurisdiction, in accordance with NRS Chapter 240.
Amendments
Eclipse Notary Services reserves the right to amend this policy in compliance with changes to NRS Chapter 240 or other applicable Nevada laws. Clients will be notified of significant changes, and continued use of our services signifies acceptance of the updated terms.
